Born and raised in London, I must have been about 5 years old when my parents bought me my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic. Flash forward to today and I now use Canon DSLRs. Everybody has a cameraphone these days that is capable of taking a sharp picture but I aim to capture something ephemeral, that shows a relationship between photographer & subject. The choice of lighting and even whether the photo is in colour or black & white, all contribute to the resulting mood of the photo.
